Amy has 10 years of experience as a speech-language pathologist; supporting individuals across public school and private practice settings.
Amy began her career in school settings, working with students of all ages in Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Blind or Visually Impaired, and Autistic communities. She discovered her passion for social-cognitive therapy while supporting teens and young adults in a specialized Autism Spectrum Disorder program at a top Illinois high school.
Amy specializes in social communication, with a focus on supporting self-advocacy and self-awareness. She helps clients learn to confidently express their needs, understand their unique strengths, and recognize when a strategy or tool might support them in reaching their goals. Her approach is collaborative and client-centered, working closely with clients and their families to foster meaningful progress in communication and confidence in everyday life. Amy is committed to creating a space that feels safe, supportive, and engaging — where therapy is personalized to each client’s needs, interests, and pace.
